What is EventIntro?

EventIntro is a small-event networking platform for cohorts of 10–100 people. It runs an AI-driven matchmaking pipeline on top of a five-question survey, then surfaces personalised introductions, breakout-group assignments, and a follow-up chat layer for the days, weeks, and months after the event ends.

Who is EventIntro for?

EventIntro is built for facilitators of small, high-context groups — cohort leaders running ongoing communities, alumni-association event organisers, mastermind hosts, and corporate learning teams running cross-functional offsites. The platform is deliberately not built for large public conferences or for ticket-driven mass events.

Cohort facilitators

You run an ongoing group — alumni network, professional association, mastermind. You want members to connect deeply enough that they show up for the next event.

Corporate offsite owners

You bring people together a few times a year and need them to break out of their normal collaboration patterns.

Workshop & mastermind hosts

You run intentional, high-touch programs where the value is the room and the conversations, not the content.

What is EventIntro not?

EventIntro is not a ticketing platform, a virtual venue, or a conference-management suite. We don't sell tickets, we don't host streaming sessions, and we don't compete with Eventbrite, Hopin, or Bizzabo on event-management feature breadth. Our scope is the matchmaking and connection layer above whatever event tooling you already use.

  • Not a ticketing platform. We integrate with whatever ticketing or RSVP tool you use; we don't replace it.
  • Not a streaming or virtual-venue platform. We work alongside Zoom and the major virtual-venue tools, but we aren't trying to be one.
  • Not a generic AI chatbot. Despite the "AI-powered" label, EventIntro is not a chatbot you talk to; it's a structured pipeline that produces matches and introductions.

How does EventIntro differ from other networking platforms?

EventIntro takes the matchmaking work seriously. Most event-networking tools either skip matching entirely (relying on chance and proximity) or do shallow keyword-tag matching. EventIntro asks each attendee five short questions about their goals, challenges, and offerings, then uses an LLM to expand those answers into a richer profile and pair people whose offers match each other's needs.

Frequently asked about EventIntro

Who is EventIntro for?
EventIntro is built for facilitators of small, high-context groups — cohort leaders running ongoing communities, alumni-association event organisers, mastermind hosts, and corporate learning teams running cross-functional offsites.
Who is EventIntro not for?
EventIntro is not for large public conferences (500+ attendees), ticket-driven mass events, or one-off trade shows. We don't sell tickets, we don't host streaming sessions, and we don't compete on event-management feature breadth with Eventbrite, Hopin, or Bizzabo.
How does the AI decide who to match?
EventIntro processes each attendee's survey through an LLM that expands the answers and extracts seek/offer keyword pairs. Those pairs are converted to vector embeddings; matching queries the index for each attendee's complementary fits — people whose offerings answer their challenges, and vice versa.
Is my attendee data private?
EventIntro uses AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS for data in transit. Communities and events are private by default — only members of a specific community can see each other's profiles. Profile data is owned by the attendee, not the host.
How does pricing work?
EventIntro is a single annual fee per community ($500/year), covering unlimited events. There are no per-attendee or per-event charges. See the pricing page for the full set of features included.
